What a way to wake up, this morning! All of St Rooster Books are currently kicking ass in downloads, but I was particularly heartened to see Thirsty and Miserable; A Critical Analysis of the Music of Black Flag is #5 in Music History and Criticism category in the Kindle Store. Not sure how many other books I'm actually up against, but it feels nice to see that number regardless. All of our other books are ran up their numbers as well. Hopefully everyone remembers to leave a review, because we indies live and die by those reviews and ratings! Anyway, lets celebrate with some Black Flag!

As much as fans and critics (myself included) loved I Never Eat...Cheesesteak, I expect people to be just as down with a A New Life. It has the perfect balance of character driven literary fiction and straight up tense horror. Steph is currently finishing up the cover (that's her work on Kids, above, if you don't know) and it's looking really cool and eye catching. I'm currently doing a final editing pass and we'll be blitzing social media when we get closer to the release date.
